Mission #6, October 2008

Rushford Minnesota flooding

On August 18th, 2007, torrential rains fell across Southeastern MN. The city of Rushford, in Fillmore County was hit with a flash flood after 17.5 inches of accumulated rain went on a terror.

Over a year later, in October of 2008, members of our team joined in efforts to help those in the community to get back into their homes. Our team, led by Betty Fischer, Wabasha, MN consisted of Andy Danckwart, Wabasha, MN, Ken Pavelka, Kellogg, MN, Marvin Bronner, Claremont, MN, Dick Schlosser, Eau Galle, WI, and Arnie Bauer, Durand WI.

The focus of the team, over a two week mission - was to insulate and install siding on a house.
