Spring 2026 -- Mission Trip # 40 and # 41
Our team of 18 has recently returned from Spencer, Iowa,
from a two-week mission trip, #40. We worked with Clay County
Recovery, the long-term recovery group, supervising
the rebuild after June, 2024 flooding.
The team of volunteers, worked on six homes,
exceeding expectations of completed work.
AND
Our team of 16 has recently returned from East Flat Rock, NC,
responding to devastation from Hurricane Helene.
There, we also spent worked 2 weeks, at the same time as the Iowa
group. This is the first time we have split the team, and gone to two
different locations.
This trip, #41, was spent working with Baptists on Mission, a
fantastic Christian Organization, focusing heavily on helping disaster
survivors, from day one of the disaster until they walk in the door of their
rebuilt or replaced home.
Both trips were huge successes, being the hands and feet of Christ
now on earth, by sharing his Gospel Message, by word and deed.
